The Australia Sri Lanka Medical Aid Team (AUSLMAT) is an Australian charity founded after the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami. For more than 20 years, our unpaid volunteers have worked alongside Sri Lankan hospitals, health leaders and underserved communities to improve access to quality healthcare and education, with a strong focus on sustainability, capacity building and community wellbeing.
